Best social media publicist wtf!? by Browallia/Nukleus

Short version:
So together with Versus #9, we once again have best writer (see mega conflict of volcanic scale where I had to crawl back and admit my defeat after Ghandy the wise, and others sniffed in my pants)…

Long version:
I thought it would be convenient, to use both best writer and “diskmag we miss most” together as a pair in this issue. Just for the rythm of the charts beside “best writer”, we also have “diskmag we miss most”. It was supposed to be a vals-rythm.

The main problem as I see it, is that to continue to maintain a writer’s category, and give new writers a chance to enter the charts, a door must be open. I wanted to modernize and did some voting in 2 different forums and started a thread for opinions

1) Diskmag writer | Social media publicist
2) Article writer | Social media publicist
3) Writer | Commentator
4) Diskmag writer | Article writer

In my mind, not everyone wants to write an article. So modernize it to how you present data was tempting. So a social media publicist was born. …And later downrated by my own sidekick Ghandy so changed it back to social media writer. Me personly not afraid that people who just thumb-like stuff would get votes in a category. I wanted to see the bigger picture, that if a person is such an influencer then the right thumb and the right “one-liner comment” in that specific important thread should actually be credited! Also thrilled to let people doing seminar on demo parties to enter the SoMe publicist. But anyway, I put up the white flag and admitted defeat so a bit more work (written form!) is now required. The aim was to get more names of active writers. If active or not is of course personal, but in the end if a person himself want to be set as active, then we always obey such wish. Some good discussions were followed in the thread. Loaderror/Ephidrena came up with some good suggestions. Some people are writing tech-blogs so I could at least add some there and search around for active writers.
This made me think. when is it an article and when is it a blog? What is the definitions of these?
Before the voting, the active writer’s list consist of 40+ names. And inactive writers was also added of the diskmag writers that have got votes from the past. And as always, which is stated – you can always vote for whom you like. If we dont find any references, you might be contacted 🙂
